Champagne Lavender & Cranberry Gin Fizz
CHAMPAGNE LAVENDER & CRANBERRY GIN FIZZ
Ingredients:
1 ounce Gin
1/2 ounce lavender & cranberry simple syrup {recipe below}
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
3-4 ounces Brut Rose Prosecco
Instructions:
In a shaker, add the gin, lavender & cranberry simple, and lemon juice.
Add ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a Champagne flute and slowly top with the brut rosé.
Garnish with cranberries on a skewer and a sprig of freshly lavender
Cranberry Simple Syrup
1/2 cup cane sugar
1/2 cup water
4 ounces (1/2 cup) fresh or frozen cranberries
1 tablespoon of culinary lavender
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
Bring to a boil, add the cranberries, and reduce heat to a slow simmer.
Stir until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries just start to pop.
Remove from heat and add the lavender
Cover and let steep for 20 mins.
Strain off the solids and store in the refrigerator until ready to use
